Abstract: The main tasks that form the prerequisites for efficient use of wind energy for electricity supply to agricultural enterprises are identified. Scientific and methodological principles of wind power plants configuration optimization and parametric series of wind turbines for agriculture are developed on the basis of computer simulation. Criteria for the efficiency of energy systems for the use of wind energy are substantiated. The results of experimental studies on electricity consumption by agricultural enterprises and wind potential of Lviv region are presented. The links between the natural production characteristics of the environment, the configuration of autonomous wind power plants and the performance indicators of their functioning were established. The optimal sequence of introduction of parametric series of wind turbines with space-oriented type of rotor and the optimal values of swing areas of their rotors and batteries capacity for the whole set of agricultural enterprises of Lviv region are substantiated. For scientists, postgraduates and undergraduates, as well as engineerspractitioners of agrarian and energy spheres.
