Abstract: The article deals with the study of the separation of grain materials in pneumatic channels with an artificially formed distribution of air velocity in the cross-section of the channel, to determine the rational form and parameters of the material supply and the options for dividing the grain material into fractions. The patterns of grain movement were theoretically investigated and established in the form of mathematical models of the dynamics of solid particles in the air flow, which differ from the known ones in that they take into account the action of lateral forces, the concentration of the material, and the application of the power law and the artificially formed exponential law of air distribution made it possible to increase the difference ( splitting) grain movement trajectory by 20%.
