| Abstract: | In today's information space, media competence becomes one of the most important qualities of a person, and its formation is one of the main aims of media education. With the right efforts from media educators of higher education, it is possible to develop media literacy, which will not only help overcome the negative effects of the media, but also increase the positive influence of the media. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the necessity of media education in the university for developing media competency. |
